Community Fridges of Evanston
This year as part of our school wide service project during our MLK week events, we encourage all our community members to do what they can to donate food for these community fridges and pantries. You can donate sealed packaged foods, fresh fruit and vegetables, bread, unopened milk and yogurt, unopened fruit juice and fresh eggs.
Essentially, people should put foods in the fridge that they would feed to their own family.
We do not own the rights to the music used in these site specific audio pieces.
We would like to give a special shout out and thanks to Dino Robinson of the
Shorefront Legacy Center.
Shorefront collects, preserves and educates people about Black history on Chicago’s suburban North Shore. Mr. Robinson and his organization are a treasure to our entire community. We highly recommend you visit their website to learn more!!! Many of the articles we used to find the information for this project came from the archives that are on Shorefront's Website.
Let's carry the Legacy, Together!!!
